简笔画是一种方便、易行、适用性广、效果甚佳的创造性语言环境和教学情景的教学技巧,是教师实现教学目的、优化课堂教学的重要手段之一。简笔画使用尽可能少的笔划线条,塑造简洁、生动、易懂的形象,把它与教学内容有机结合起来,是小学英语教学中一种不可替代的积极手段,也是适应儿童的心理特征和审美情趣,倍受欢迎的教学形式。利用简笔画,不仅可以培养学生的学习兴趣、训练学生的思维、培养学生的想象力、强化教学效果,而且还可以利用它设计丰富的教学活动和给予学生评价,是英语教学中必不可少的一种工具。
