东阳陈大猷《书集传》学界误以为亡佚,但实有元刻本藏国家图书馆,卷帙略有残缺。《书集传》训诂倡一字多训,重上下文语境,在大倡义理解经的宋代,是少有的重视训诂的笃实之作。提倡以经说经,解经中融入天即理、天理人欲之辨,倡诚敬之修养论,是以理学解经的典型著述。《书集传》引用大量时贤《尚书》材料,具有很高史料价值。
