苏州花岗岩见于苏州以西的狮子山、横山、灵岩山、南爪山等地。出露面积约11Km~2,基岩面积50Km~2。形似肾状,呈北西向延伸,南陡北缓。岩体位于木渎短轴倾伏向斜核部。属富碱、贫铁岩体。花岗岩周围已经查明的铁矿床(点)有13个,其中小型铁矿床5个(谈家桥、唐家墩、旺米山、南爪山、陈家沟);铁矿点8个。大部为磁铁矿异常。对于这类低缓磁异常特征的综合分析,必将为寻找更多的铁矿床(点)提供可靠的科学依据。一、岩石磁性特点灰岩、砂页岩、砂岩等沉积岩均为无磁性;岩浆岩磁性随着岩石由酸性、中酸性到中性
Suzhou granite found in west of Suzhou Lion Rock, Yokoyama, Lingyan Mountain, South Paw and other places. Exposed area of about 11Km ~ 2, bedrock area of 50Km ~ 2.
