Chinese migration is characterized as one of the important aspects of economic development in the long terms of the Russian Federation，in particular its eastern territories. In China，a huge migration potential，the implementation of which take place in the conditions of market transformations leads not only to the internally displaced population，but also it is accompanied by a marked migration outflow from the country. The aforesaid led to the choice of the issues involved of the research. These include:economic issues，evaluation of the situation and prospects for Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of migration，identify trends in the development of Chinese migration，the study of the impact of the activities of the Chinese in the economic development of the region. In a research carry out as follows: Clarify the definition of migration，labor and economic migration; differentiate the concepts of illegal and irregular migrants; Definition of the factors influencing formation of migratory streams and its consequence for a labor market and the sphere of employment of the population; Assessment of the modern migratory situation which has developed in border regions (a case of Primorsky region); Establishment of the impact of immigration on the economic development of the region (a case of Primorsky region); Identifying migration intentions of migrants from China，depending on their socio-demographic structure，and analysis of trends and socio-economic consequences of illegal migration and illegal employment of Chinese citizens. The main impetus of Chinese migration to Russia is economic reasons related to the search for jobs and alternative livelihoods. Modern migration flows from China to Russia are its obvious positive results. Chinese migration is a virtually inexhaustible source of cheap labor and a valuable economic resource. For the population of the positive economic effects of immigration and the employment of Chinese citizens in Russia associated with the saturation of the market with cheap and necessary goods and services. Negative consequences of migrations from China are a fact that low-skilled employment of Chinese labor hinders efficiency of the economy.
