With the society development and competition intensification, the organization management and researchers are paying more attention to the employees social comparison behavior and profession strain while studying the effect mechanism between them are becoming more and more important. Based on the study of literature on social comparison, pressure sources and profession strain, the writer works out the Chinese version of Attention to Comparison Information (ATSCI) and provides effective measurement to understand the extent of attention to comparison information. 319employees from four enterprises in Shanghai, Wuhan and Nanjing were surveyed and required to finish ATSCI, fear of negative evaluation, social anxiety, social comparison orientation, profession pressure sources and profession strain at the same time. Results showed that 13 items were retained with an alpha of .82; the questionnaire also exhibited good correlation validity: scores on ATSCI were positively correlated with those of fear of negative evaluation, social anxiety, social comparison orientation, profession pressure sources and profession strain, all reaching a significant level; no significant correlation with need of cognition. By exploratory analyses and confirmatory analyses, one factor was extracted and explained variance 33.6﹪ and a single-factor solution fit the data very well. The analysis showed that no significant age and income difference; but male scores are higher than female scores and significant education difference. ATSCI had good reliability and validity. Additionally, the study also explored the effect mechanism between ATSCI and profession strain. The result showed that ATSCI has significant positive correlations with profession pressure and ATSCI has direct effect and moderating effect to profession pressure.
