Luminance evaluation is more reasonable than illumination evaluation in road lighting.Many countries have the luminance evaluation as the main method of road lighting quality evaluation.So the calculations of the luminance distribution of the road should be an important part of road lighting.Because the LED road lighting lamps can provide more precise light intensity distribution than the traditional lamps,the road lighting with LED can be achieved with higher road luminance uniformity.
