Wujiang and Chishui River tributary of Yangtze River is the most important level.Wujiang river and chishui nitrogen and phosphorus and heavy metal of pollution.Influence the development of agriculture and industry in Guizhou province and seriously threatens the lives and health of people.Diatoms are very sensitive to changes of water environmental factors, so they applied to monitoring and assessment of water quality.Study reports on the correlation between them in China are rare, and at present, no report has been published about quantitative research on diatoms in the upper and middle Wujiang River and the Chishui River as well as about research on correlation between the diatoms and nitrogen, phosphorous and heavy metals.
