Based on the unique molecular structure of ferrocene [1] and its use as a new and potential type of liquid chromatography separation medium,a new silica-bonded(4-cyclopentadienyl benzoic acid-iron-toluene) hexafluorophosphoric acid stationary phase was synthesized [2] and characterized by infrared spectroscopy,elemental analysis and thermogravimetric analysis and so on.
