It is widely believed that action potentials or neuronal spikes are information carders in the brain,but how action potentials encode information is still an ongoing issue.This problem of neural coding is closely related to nonlinear science because the constituent elements of the brain or neurons are highly nonlinear and dynamical.In this talk,I explain some nonlinear scientific aspects of neural coding on the basis of modeling neurodynamics.
