我国生产高性能球墨铸铁一向是用本溪生铁作为原材料。为了适应球墨铸铁日益发展的需要,近几年来各省均在试验用本地生铁生产高性能球墨铸铁。湖北地区各工厂在试验与生产本地生铁的球墨铸铁中碰到不少问题,其中突出的问题是综合性能较差,特别是冲击值低和球化不够稳定。 本溪生铁生产的球墨铸铁经过正火和回火处理后,抗拉强度一般在80Kg/mm~2以上;延伸率2.5~3.5%;冲击值大于2Kg·M/Cm~2。而用湖北地方生铁采取同样的工艺生产的球墨铸铁抗拉强度σb<70Kg/mm~2;冲击值<1.5Kg·M/Cm~2,而且铸件较脆,冷裂倾向较大。在球化级别方面:湖北地方生铁球墨铸铁一般比本溪生铁球墨铸铁要低1~2级。 为什么用湖北地方生铁作球墨铸铁其综合机械性能和球化率要比本溪生铁球墨铸铁低呢?我们遵照伟大领袖毛主席要调查研究的教导,对湖北地方几个主要钢铁厂如武汉钢铁公司、鄂城钢铁厂、东方红钢铁厂和汉阳钢铁厂供应铸造生产用生铁进行了初步调查和分析。在调查的
