罗马俱乐部当年的杰作《增长的极限》开人类文明可持续发展(sustainabledevelopment)的先河,尽管当时给出的许多预言看来有点问题,但这丝毫也无损于其里程碑式意义,而罗马俱乐部的重要成员拉兹洛先生的新著《巨变》(Macroshift)几乎可以称为《增长的极限》的姊妹篇。
Rome Club’s masterpiece of the year “The Limits to Growth” opened the precedent for sustainable development of human civilization. Although many of the predictions given at that time appeared to be a little bit problematic, it did not in the least discourage its landmark significance and the importance of the Club of Rome Mr. Laszlo’s new book The Macroshift is almost a companion to the “limit of growth.”
