The humic acid chemistry symposium prepared by the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Chemistry and the Henan Institute of Chemistry was held in Zhengzhou from October 21 to October 26 1979. This is the first humus chemistry seminar held in our country since the humic acid research was carried out in the 1960s. More than 60 representatives from 34 institutes and institutes of higher learning gathered to exchange experiences and sum up the achievements made in recent years.
