白色石膏墙和朝向淋浴在中心庭院的阴凉房间,它好像是在墨西哥,又好像是在马贝拉。但在这里,它既都不是,也都是。每个人都希望自己的家园有一点与众不同,这所房子的设计受到西班牙、墨西哥、中东和北非的混合影响,将各种元素合并起来之后,创造出来的正是这个效果。看来,房子的设计与居住者本人的感受有着莫大关系,就如建筑师加布里埃尔·普勒所说的“每个人所受到的影响都会造成他对家园有着不同的感受”。
