近年来,足球学校在各地如雨后春笋般不断涌现,规模不断扩大,办学水平在逐步提高,尤其在1996、1997两年里,各地办足校形成了一个高潮。这是一个令人欣喜的局面。“足校热”的兴起,为真正实现“足球从娃娃抓起”提供了良好的条件,使青少年足球这一中国足球最薄弱的环节得到有力的补充和加强,为中国足球的真正腾飞铺设了一块块基石,从这一个意义上讲,我们大家都有义务去关心、支持足球学校这一新生事物的成长。
