常州地区临时流通代用币是苏南地区地方代用币的一朵奇葩,以其形制多样,制作精美,内涵丰富而倍受钱币爱好者的青睐。在“常临币”林林总总多达千种以上的代用币中,金属质代用币数量最多,而纸质代用币流传下来的相对较少。在专门介绍“常临币”的《常州地区临时流通币》一书中只收入了36种纸质代用币,由于纸币附加价值少,又极其不易保存,因而显得更为难得。2011年第4期的《江苏钱币》上,刊登了藏家秦寿良先生的《庆丰恒号临时流通券》一文,为
