The Compendium of Materia Medica was published before Li Shizhen’s birth. Jinling, published in 1592, also called Hu Chenglong as the first book. Since then, seven or eight editions have been printed before the death. After the Ming Dynasty, book sellers and good people from all over the country turned their engraved pictures. There were no fewer than a dozen of reprints. The advantages and disadvantages of the paper and ink on the plates were uneven, but they were all printed from the original version of Li Shizhen. They did not dare to add, delete, or tamper with them. It could be said that they were all “original”. In 1885, the Compendium of Materia Medica reprinted by Hefei Zhang Shaoqi (the so-called “Weigu Zhaiben”, commonly known as “Guangxu Version”), made a masterpiece, made a major event, and created the first “misunderstanding”. ". After that, there are as many as five or six different types of cranes and they are now the most popular ones.
