社会政治的安定与经济的繁荣,历来是整个文化体育事业全面兴盛的基本前提,近几年来,由于农村经济的发展,尤其是乡镇工业的兴起,大大促进了小城镇的繁荣。小城镇是大城市大工业的后方,大城市又是小城镇工业的依托,因此大力发展小城镇体育,对于加强城乡体育的联系,促进农村体育的普及和提高,对于提高我国人口的素质,发现和培养更多的体育人才均有着十分重要的意义。党的十一届三中全会以来,一系列正确的方针、政策,为体育事业向广度、深度和高度进军创造了极为有利的条件。小城镇体育,应该成为各级体委群众体育工作的一个重要方面,也应该是体育社会学研究的一个重要课题。
Social and political stability and economic prosperity have always been the basic premise for the overall prosperity of cultural and sports undertakings. In recent years, due to the development of rural economy, especially the rise of township and town industries, the prosperity of small towns has been greatly promoted. Small cities and towns are the rear of big cities and big cities are the reliance of industries of small cities and towns. Therefore, developing small-town sports is of great significance to strengthening the connection between urban and rural sports and promoting the popularization and improvement of rural sports. And to develop more sports talent are of great significance. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Party, a series of correct guidelines and policies have created extremely favorable conditions for marching into the breadth, depth and height of sports undertakings. Physical education in small cities should become an important aspect of mass physical education at all levels of the Physical Education Commission and should also be an important issue in the study of sports sociology.
