Nuclear power has been in existence for more than 60 years since the first use of nuclear power by the United States Experimental Breeder 1 (EBR-1) in January-February 1981. Over the past 60 years, there have been three major nuclear power accidents in the world, taking place in the United States three miles (also known as Three Mile Island), the former Soviet Union Chernobyl and Japan’s Fukushima. Among them, Chernobyl had the worst consequences and the Fukushima accident had the most impact on us. The first two accidents were mainly caused by human factors such as design and operational errors; while the Fukushima accident
