学习地理离不开理性逻辑思维,地理知识的表征或学习离不开数学学科的推理计算、空间思维、逻辑分析,数学在地理学科某些知识的理解中显得非常重要,譬如地球经度、纬度的概念和测定,时差的概念及其理解。地理教学需要重点做好案例剖析引导,组织活动让学生动手操作、动脑思考、推理计算,能有效增强对地理知识的理解。用好某些数学工具是学好地理的必要条件,地理教师需要将地理教学与数学工具进行恰当的整合,以便提高地理教学效率。
