大头茶是热带、亚热带常绿树种。生长比较迅速,树高年平均生长为0.39m,前6年树高连年生长量较快,达0.5m以上。胸径年平均生长为0.32cm,在10年生以前,胸径生长较快,连年生长量可达0.94cm。该树种能适应干旱贫瘠的生境,可作为我省南亚热带山地绿化造林的先锋树种。本文对大头茶的形态特征、生物学特性和栽培技术分别作了介绍。
Big head tea is a tropical, subtropical evergreen species. Growth more rapidly, the average annual growth of trees is 0.39m, the first six years of rapid growth of tree height in recent years, up to 0.5m above. The average growth of DBH is 0.32 cm. Before 10 years of age, the diameter of DBH grows rapidly and the annual growth can reach 0.94 cm. The tree species can adapt to drought and infertile habitats, can be used as a pioneer tree species in the southern subtropical mountain afforestation. In this paper, the morphological characteristics, biological characteristics and cultivation techniques of the tea were introduced respectively.
