When it comes to Daqing, what people think of first is the oilfield and iron man Wang Jinxi. Because of the Iron Man, the national spirit was brought into the blood of the people. Founded in March 2001, Daqing Vocational College is a combination of Daqing Petroleum School (founded in 1953), Daqing Workers College (established in 1985) and Daqing Petroleum Advanced Technical School (established in 1981).
