In order to understand the situation of nutritional anemia of primary school students in my county, in July 1987, a survey was conducted on 485 boys and girls in three primary schools in the town and three elementary schools in rural areas. The determination criteria and tests for anemia were performed according to the methods prescribed in the Liaoning Province’s 1987 lecture on experimental diagnosis of nutritional anemia. The results are now reported as follows: The incidence of anemia among 485 students in this survey was 25.45%.
