(一)人工整枝的作用人工整枝是指人为的修去树冠下层的枯死枝、濒死枝、病虫枝和一部分活枝的一种经营技术措施,也叫修枝。通过人工整枝能够起到三方面的作用: 1.可以促进林木形成良好的干形,增加树干圆满度,提高木材品质。所以人工整枝是培育“无节良材”的一个重要措施。红松、油松这两个树种,天然整枝很差,下部枝条枯死后经久不能脱落,这就容易形成死节,降低木材品质和好材种的出材率。经人工整枝后,这种现象即可避免。 2.可以改善林分环境,减少病虫害的发生,促进林木生长,有利于森林防火。由
