To remove these multi-legged components from the printed circuit board, usually use a normal soldering iron. However, this method often results in flaking of printed pads and conductor tracks, rupturing of metallized holes, scorching or delamination of the substrate of the board, and the like, thereby causing damage to the board or the components.
