上古汉语“夫”字与人类学上之成了礼关系密切，基本义指“成年男性”。通过对汉藏 语系各亲族语言中有关“人”之语音的比较，可以发现它们的本词应是“夫”义扩大而来，因此， “夫”字应是汉藏语系内共同的基本词汇之一。族源问题与语源问题常常互相渗透，不能作如 是观，汉藏语系内各亲族语言同源之研究就很难达到目的。
The ancient Chinese “husband” word and anthropological ceremony became closely related to the basic meaning of “adult men.” By comparing the phonetic sounds of “people” in the kin languages of the Sino-Tibetan language family, we can find that their meanings should be expanded from the meaning of “husband”. Therefore, the word “husband” should be common within the Sino-Tibetan language family One of the basic vocabulary. The problem of ethnic origin and the problem of etymology often permeate each other and can not be treated as a concept of opinion. It is very difficult to achieve the goal of the study of the homologous language of all kin languages in the Sino-Tibetan language family.
