A recent issue of “Global Human Geography” published Ge Jianxiong’s article, believing that religion is the basis of traditional festivals. Since the reform and opening up, some foreign festivals such as Christmas have become increasingly popular in China. At the same time, China’s traditional festivals are getting less and less attention. Although the government has maintained vigilance among civilians, it seems difficult to turn the tide. Some foreign festivals have taken the place of traditional festivals. Why many countries are much more modern than China, but the traditional festivals can not endure, but most of China’s traditional festivals exist in name only, the younger generation more and more indifferent to this?
