在冲天炉熔化过程中,前炉出铁口有时因某种原因冻结,出铁时捅不开出铁口。一般打开出铁口常用的方法一种是用钢钎把它凿穿,但往往损坏耐火材料,造成出铁口增大,给以后堵出铁口带来了困难;另一种是用氧炔焰或电焊条烧穿出铁口,但比较麻烦,费工费时。在熔化过程中还存在一个问题:有时化铁后期,前炉出铁口由于多次开启被铁水冲刷增大,很难用泥塞堵住,严重影响生产正常进行。
