为帮助制订浅海声学研究计划,美国海军海洋研究和发展活动中心在海军研究署的资助下,于1983年2月主办了一个浅海声学专题讨论会,有卅多个单位近70名水声专家参加了会议。在此之前,在1982年12月还召开了一次保密的预备会,对美国海军的要求和需要重点研究的领域进行估计和分析。根据其讨论结果,选择了“声学环境的表征”和“声目标分类技术”两个专题作为今后研究的重点。1983年会议就是要对这两个专题在今后五年内的研究和计划提出建议。会议分三个工作组作论文报告和进行讨论,其专题分别是:环境声学和建立模型;测量技术;目标分类技术。下面从这三方面对会议所建议的研究计划内容作一介绍。
To assist in the development of a shallow-sea acoustics research project, the United States Naval Research and Development Center for Oceanography sponsored a shallow sea acoustics symposium with the assistance of the Naval Research Agency in February 1983 with the participation of nearly 70 hydroacoustic specialists from several units meeting. Prior to that, a confidential preparatory meeting was held in December 1982 to assess and analyze the requirements of the U.S. Navy and areas requiring major research. According to the results of the discussion, two topics, “Representation of Acoustic Environment” and “Acoustic Target Classification Technology”, are selected as the focus of future research. The 1983 conference is to make recommendations on the research and planning of these two topics in the next five years. The conference was divided into three working groups for essay report and discussion, the topics are: environmental acoustics and modeling; measurement technology; target classification technology. The following three aspects of the proposed plan of the meeting to make an introduction.
