The Mathematics Curriculum Standard (hereinafter referred to as the “Standard”) expounds the mathematics curricula in the compulsory education phase as four fields: “Number and Algebra”, “Space and Graphics”, “Statistics and Probability”, and “Practice and Comprehensive Application”. In order to let the first-line primary school mathematics teachers understand the goal connotation of the “standard”, this article will respectively explain the specific target contents in these four fields one by one.
