从祖国领土向东方延伸一直到边疆,就到了延边。延边是我国唯一的朝鲜族自治州。全国的200万朝鲜族人口,有84万居住在这里,占37％。延边自治州辖延吉、图门、敦化、龙井、珲春、和龙六市和安图、汪清两县,总人口218.8万,其中,朝鲜族占38.4％。 1952年,延边朝鲜族自治区成立,1955年12月改为延边朝鲜族自治州。今年9月3日,延边朝鲜族自治州迎来了50年州庆的大喜日子。本社记者受延边州政府侨办之邀,再次踏上了延边的土地,聆听喜庆的锣鼓,感受东部边疆的神秘,观看那里经济文化建设的成就……延边,是一块英雄的土地。抗日战争、解放战争和抗美援朝中,这里每3人中就有1人参军,有烈士1.6万人。“山山金达莱,村村烈士碑”是其真实写照。
Extending from the territory of the motherland to the east until it reaches the frontier, Yanbian arrived. Yanbian is the only Korean autonomous prefecture in China. There are 840,000 people living here, accounting for 37% of the 2 million Koreans nationwide. Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture has jurisdiction over Yanji, Tumen, Dunhua, Longjing, Hunchun, Heilongjiang and Antu and Wangqing counties with a total population of 2.188 million, of which, 38.4% are Korean. In 1952, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Region was established, in December 1955 changed to Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture. September 3 this year, Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture ushered in 50 years of state celebration of the great day. Our reporter was invited by the Overseas Chinese Office of Yanbian State Government to set foot on the land of Yanbian again, to listen to the festive gongs and drums, to experience the mystery of the eastern frontier and to see the achievements of economic and cultural construction there. Yanbian is a heroic land. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the War of Liberation and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, one out of every three people joined the army here, with 16,000 martyrs. “Mountain Jindal, Village Martyrs monument” is its true portrayal.
