隆香634A是用丰源B作母本,与玉香B∥先恢207/R402杂交后,从F3中选优良单株与丰源A测交,并经连续多代回交育成的三系香稻不育系。隆香634A不育性稳定,群体不育株率100%,花粉不育度99.98%,套袋自交结实率为0;稻米品质较优,籽粒有香味;开花习性好,易于繁殖制种;可恢复性好,配合力强。该不育系及其选配的杂交晚稻组合隆香优130(隆香634A/R130)均于2013年通过湖南省品种审定。
