The change of engineering characteristics after the rock experiences high temperature cooling directly affects the development and utilization of underground deep space and resources, the storage of nuclear waste and the stability evaluation of the underground engineering after a sudden high temperature disaster. Taking marble as the research object, uniaxial compression tests and acoustic tests were carried out on the rock samples after water cooling and natural cooling. The peak strength, elastic modulus, attenuation coefficient, longitudinal wave velocity and Frequency changes. The results show that with the increasing of temperature, the peak intensity, elastic modulus and longitudinal wave velocity of high temperature marble with water cooling show a decreasing trend. When the temperature is below 400 ℃, the attenuation coefficient Gradually increases, and the frequency decreases gradually. However, when the temperature is higher than 400 ℃, the attenuation coefficient and the dominant frequency do not completely appear to monotonically increase or decrease with the increase of temperature, and the high temperature inflection point appears. After the same high temperature The peak strength, elastic modulus and frequency of the water-cooled marble are lower than those of natural cooling, while the longitudinal wave velocity and attenuation coefficient are higher than the natural cooling. The research results can provide a reference for the detection and stability evaluation of high temperature rock engineering properties under water cooling, which is instructive for the choice of rock cooling mode under high temperature.
