为促进吉林省中熟水稻品种的更新换代,通化市农科院于2002年选育出了中熟、高产、抗病品种“通育315”。2004年申请国家水稻新品种保护,2005年参加吉林省水稻区域试验。于2007年完成区试程序,2008年通过吉林省品种审定委员会审定。该品种进行多年多点试种示范,表现较好,受到试种单位、有关部门及专家的一致好评,是同类型中表现突出的一个品种,具有广泛应用前景,是目前我省不可多得的高产、抗病、中熟新品种。
