“生活是创作的源泉。”我还是遵循这个原则去进行戏剧创作实践的。近几年来,随着戏剧观念的更新,“源泉”的提法似乎不那么理直气壮了,甚至有人对此提出非异。有人主张在戏剧创作上要强烈地“表现自我”,要顽强地用“主观意识”去左右观众的审美情趣,等等。我学识极浅,不想、也没有能力对这些戏剧观念评头论足。但是,我认为,“表现自我”也好,“主观意识的表露”也好,如果这种“自我”脱离当今社会实际太远,这种“主观”距人民要求太大,那么,我想这种戏剧创作恐难以在舞台上征服观众吧!我是一个长期工作在基层的戏剧工作者,更多的时间是和农村的干部、群众交往。职业需要我了解他
