抗日战争胜利以后,隶属于中共阑浙赣省委的城市工作部、闽中特(地)委和中共闽粤赣边的闽南地委,相继在厦门建立、发展了自己的组织。她们在厦门大、中学的地下党组织,以厦门大学为中心,以青年学生为主要对象开展工作,领导了一次又一次的民主爱国运动和其他革命斗争,培养了一批又一批的知识分子走上革命的道路。本文拟就解放战争时期厦门大、中学的地下党组织作一概述。
