为了提高果品生产的经济效益,锦县班吉塔镇农民把果品生产同贮藏结合起来,因地制宜地利用各种方式贮藏水果,收到了良好的效果。果品贮藏期一般达180~200天,有的能贮到新果采收。利用土窑洞贮藏210天的苹果,水分损耗低于2%,风味和色泽近似采收初期。贮藏方式有如下几种:1.利用山区土质坚实的特点,在房舍附近的山坡上挖土窑洞。窑洞长8~10米,分两、三个贮藏室,使用面积30平方米左右。这种土窑洞不需投资,贮果期较长,效果好。
