From October 6 to October 10, a seminar on the national coastal open cities jointly held by Shandong Provincial Department of Economic and Technological Development, Qingdao and Yantai Municipal Government and Shandong Academy of Social Sciences was held in Yantai. Ninety-six experts and scholars from China’s open coastal cities, special economic zones, relevant ministries and commissions of the Chinese government and institutions of higher learning specializing in the issue of opening to the outside world attended the seminar.
