亚急性感染性心内膜炎指因细菌、真菌和其他微生物(如病毒、立克次体、衣原体、螺旋体等)直接感染而产生心瓣膜或心室壁内膜的炎症,多数起病缓慢,有发热、贫血及体重减轻等症状,也可以并发症形式起病,如多种器官的栓塞、顽固性心力衰竭等.
