To the editor:Endobronchial mucormycosis is a rare disease.Here,we report a very rare case with endobronchial mucormycosis showing as a bronchial tumor.rnA 61-year-old man with type 2 diabetes mellitus presented to our hospital after 3 days of cough and dyspnea.On admission.physical examination showed his temperature being 38.60℃,cyanosis of oral lips,moist rales and wheezing rales in left infraclavicular.He had severe respiratory distress and metabolic acidosis (pH 7.26,partial pressure of carbon dioxide (PC02) 22 mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa),partial pressure of oxygen (P02) 52 mmHg in 41% 02,HC03-12.5 mmol/L).
