随着新闻媒体信息化建设的迅速发展,信息技术在新闻媒体中的作用和含量不断增大,技术人员在新闻行业中的作用和地位也相应有了较大的提高。但是,我们也看到,在一些新闻单位,技术人员仍没有得到应有的重视和尊重,他们的作用得不到充分的发挥,一些实际问题不时地困扰着他们,使他们似有“二等公民”之感,致使一些技术人员感到在新闻单位搞技术工作没有奔头,学历较高、年轻有为的技术人才往往进不来,即使进来了也常常留不住,这种状况极大地制约着新闻现代化的进程,影响了新闻事业的更大发展。
