以F_(33)与C_(40)为例,F_(33)与C_(40)有一个公有泛音C_(52)。由于平均律定律的原因,F_(33)上的第二泛音C_(52)′要比C_(40)的第一泛音C_(52)稍高一点。这个C_(52)就是F_(33)与C_(40)的拍音位置,C_(52)′与C_(52)的
Beat tone is a phenomenon of periodic changes in the auditory sense of the human ear when the sounds of two different frequencies sound at the same time. The number of beats per second equals the difference between the vibration frequencies of the two tones. The fewer the number of beats, or the closer the frequencies of the two tones are, the easier the beating phenomenon is perceived by the human ear. In piano tuning, the beat phenomenon is not a comparison of the two tone fundamental frequencies, but the frequency of the common overtones in the two tones. Taking F_ (33) and C_ (40) for example, F_ (33) and C_ (40) have a common overtone C_ (52). Due to the law of mean law, the second overtone C 52 () on F 33 is slightly higher than the first overtone C 52 of C 40. This C_ (52) is the beat position of F_ (33) and C_ (40), C_ (52) and C_ (52)
