(一)1981年10月1日,时任全国人大常委会委员长的叶剑英向台湾方面提出了和平解决台湾问题的“九条建议”,8天之后的10月9日,北京隆重举行纪念辛亥革命70周年的活动。有一位取道香港来京参加此次活动的人受到了中共高层的特别关照,他就是香港《新香港时报》社长兼总编辑沈诚。沈诚,浙江人,最早毕业于国民党中央陆军官校,台湾陆军大学参谋班特四期毕业,曾任国民党陆军少将,在蒋经国嫡系青年军中担任师长,还担任过蒋经国机要秘书。退役后到香港,任香港《新香港时报》社长兼总编辑。由于以往的经历,使他即使在去港后仍
(1) On October 1, 1981, Ye Jianying, then chairman of the NPC Standing Committee, proposed to the Taiwan authorities nine recommendations on the peaceful resolution of the Taiwan issue. On October 9, eight days later, Beijing solemnly held a commemorative revolution of 1911 70th anniversary event.
