扬州文化艺术学校是培养着江苏全省近六千名工农业余文化艺术活动骨干的一所新型学校。不久前,我们看到了他们排演的一些歌舞、戏剧节目。这些节目,是为了贯彻理论与实践相结合的教学方针,为了配合教学而创作、排练的,只是开始学习后二十多天来成绩的表现。但是,就从这些节目中,我们已看到了工农劳动群众极大的创造力和艺术才华。江苏省广大城乡里有丰富的民歌小调宝藏。很多县,甚至很多村、镇,都有自己特有的小调,有的县多至十几种。其中有很多都是过去人们在生产劳动中创造出来的,有着强烈的生活气息和战斗气息。今天他们配上了新词,用来歌颂新生活,演唱者又加以新的艺术处理,使人感到和谐、优美。扬州艺校歌舞部学员歌唱的许多新国歌,歌词多是演唱者们自己的即业创作,取材于他们自己的劳动生活和切身感受,信手
