地位指数表是评定林地生产力的基础,是森林规划设计和森林经营中重要的基础数表之一。要提高森林经营的集约度,充分、合理地利用林地生产潜力,增加林业生产的经济效益,就必须要有各个地区、各主要造林树种的地位指数表。因此,目前我国正广泛开展地位指数表的编制工作。但全面系统地应用电子计算机进行地位指数表编制的研究,在国内尚未见报道。 地位指数表编制的内业工作一般包括:
