今年7月1日是中国共产党成立八十周年的纪念日。八十年,弹指一挥间,在人类历史的长河中不过是短暂的一瞬。但是对中国人民来说,却是天翻地覆的八十年。八十年里,中国共产党领导各族人民完成了反帝反封建的新民主主义革命,结束了中国半殖民地半封建社会的历史;消灭了剥削制度和剥削阶级,确立了社会主义制度;开创了建设有中国特色的社会主义道路,逐步实现社会主义现代化。八十年来的历史证明,只有在中国共产党领导下,走社会主义道路,国家才能强盛,民族才能振兴,人民才能富裕。像我这样九十六岁的老一代知识分子,正是在中国共产党的影响和教育下,走向革命和向往社会主义的。躬逢伟大、光荣、正确的中国共产党成立八十周年,我的心潮起伏,激动不已,往事历历,浮现眼前: 青年时代,我痛十艮北洋军阀的腐败与蛮横,参加了“五四”运动。我和大多数爱国知识分子一样,抱着“教
