维生素K以其合成许多血凝因子的作用而著名。最近几年发现维生素K依赖性蛋白对骨和血管的健康有极其重要作用。膳食维生素K推荐摄入量是以肝脏合成血凝因子需要量为基础制定的。积累的证据提示用于其他功能的需要量比用于血凝的需要量可能要高。本文是一个封闭专题讨论会的结果,会上许多欧洲维生素K专家回顾了现有的资料并阐明了他们在膳食维生素K推荐摄入量和使用含维生素K补充剂的立场。
Vitamin K is well known for its role in the synthesis of many blood coagulation factors. In recent years, vitamin K-dependent proteins have been found to play an extremely important role in the health of bones and blood vessels. Recommended intake of dietary vitamin K is based on the synthesis of blood clotting factor needs of the liver developed. Accumulating evidence suggests that the need for other functions may be greater than the need for clotting. This article is the result of a closed symposium where many vitamin K professionals in Europe reviewed available information and clarified their recommendation on dietary vitamin K intake and use of vitamin K supplements.
