Natsume Soseki (1867-1916), the novel “After the Equinox,” appeared earlier in “History of Japanese Literature” by Xie Liuyi. Since the 1920s, only two versions have been published in mainland China, including Natsume Soseki Many of the novels translated into China are “I am a Cat,” “Stay,” “Poppy,” “Gate,” and “Heart” are all representative works. However, compared with the above works, “after the vernal equinox”, the translation and research in China are relatively “deserted.” This article intends to sort out the situation after the vernal equinox in China and pave the way for further research.
