在大学英语学习阶段,如何高效学习英语词汇并能灵活应用是多数学生急需解决的问题。随着隐喻理论的发展,隐喻不再只是一种语言修辞方法,更被认为是一种重要的认知方式。从隐喻映射能力培养入手,符合词汇的认知规律,学生可以更好地理解词汇学习中的抽象概念,从而更有效地习得和应用词汇。隐喻映射能力培养对学生而言,不仅会对现阶段的英语词汇学习有很大帮助,还将具有推动其英语学习能力进一步发展的深远意义。
In college English learning stage, how to efficiently learn English vocabulary and can be applied flexibly is a problem most students need to solve urgently. With the development of metaphor theory, metaphor is no longer just a method of language rhetoric, but also considered as an important cognitive method. Starting with the cultivation of metaphorical mapping ability, in line with the cognitive rules of vocabulary, students can better understand the abstract concepts in vocabulary learning and thus acquire and apply vocabulary more effectively. Metaphor mapping ability training for students, not only for the current stage of English vocabulary learning is of great help, will also have to promote their further development of English learning ability of far-reaching significance.
