2013年12月1日,在《开罗宣言》发表70周年纪念日这一天,台湾社会各界以研讨会、展览、刊发评论等多种方式,重温这一世界反法西斯战争的重要国际文件,纪念《开罗宣言》发表70周年。《开罗宣言》是台湾回归中国的基础12月1日,为隆重纪念《开罗宣言》发表70周年,台湾政治大学人文中心等联合举办国际学术研讨会。来自海峡两岸、美国、英国、日本的专家学者等上百人参加了研讨会。台湾地区领导人马英九出席研讨会并发表讲话。马英九在讲话中表示,《开罗宣言》是第一份确认台湾必须在战后归还中国
On December 1, 2013, on the 70th anniversary of the publication of the Cairo Declaration, all sectors of Taiwan’s society revisit important international documents in this world war against fascism in various ways, including seminars, exhibitions and commentary. The Cairo Declaration is the Foundation for Taiwan’s Return to China On December 1, the International Academic Seminar was jointly held to mark the 70th anniversary of the Cairo Declaration and the Humanities Center of Taiwan’s Political Science University. Hundreds of experts and scholars from across the Taiwan Strait, the United States, Britain and Japan attended the seminar. Taiwanese leader Ma Ying-jeou attended the seminar and delivered a speech. In his speech, Ma Ying-jeou said that the Cairo Declaration was the first one to confirm that Taiwan must return to China after the war
