金属管扩口试验系将规定锥度的顶心压入试样一端,使管口均匀地扩张到技术条件规定的扩口率,以检查试样有无裂口、裂缝等缺陷。原采用一个整体锥度顶心,利用万能材料试验机压入,但在取出锥度顶心时不但费劲且很容易把试样边缘损坏。经改进,将压入试样顶心做成两段如1所示。试验效果较好。
